Here’s the answer.

What is the difference between a gas flame and a liquid flame?

The difference is noticeable in the character of the flame. A gas flame produces a fireball when pulsed briefly, and burns low when kept activated continuously — rising slowly due to its lower pressure. A liquid flame responds faster: under high pressure, it shoots out of the machine, creating an impressive column flame that reaches great heights.

What is the difference between the Flameblazer and the Flameblazer 5-Way?

The Flameblazer has one output nozzle that shoots vertically. The Flameblazer 5-Way has five output nozzles, each firing independently at an angle.

What type of liquid does the Flameblazer use?

The Flameblazer runs on either Isopropanol alcohol (99% pure) or ISOPAR G, H, or L.

What is the difference between each flame fluid?

Isopropanol (IPA) is an alcohol-based, highly flammable liquid. It burns rapidly and clean, producing a bright yellow flame with minimal smoke and odor, making it ideal for indoor use while performing just as well outdoors.
ISOPAR is a refined oil product that creates a bolder, more dramatic flame: a deeper red flame topped with black smoke, highly visible even in broad daylight. It does have a stronger, more chemical smell, so we don't recommend it for small indoor venues. ISOPAR L has a high ignition temperature, so it isn't classified as a dangerous good, making it ideal for touring.

Is the Flameblazer suitable for indoor and outdoor use?

The Flameblazer is designed to be weatherproof, meaning you can use it in and outdoor at an event environment.

Can I adjust the flame height of the Flameblazer?

Yes, using various nozzles. The unit comes standard with an L nozzle, generating a 10 meter flame in neutral conditions. We also offer an S nozzle (6 meter flame) and an M nozzle (8 meter flame) as accessories.

Which accessories do I need to operate the Flameblazer?

For optimal safety for your crew, artists, and crowd, you can integrate the Arm Controller and arm system into your setup. To combine DMX and ARM over a single cable, use the DMX over ARM injector. If you prefer to use your own safety system, the Arm Override on the unit makes this possible. Other available accessories are the S and M nozzle, a nozzle exchange tool, and a Flightcase that holds two units.

Can I place the Flameblazer at an angle?

Yes! The Flameblazer can be tilted to an angle of 45 degrees in all upward positions.

Can I use colored flames with the Flameblazer?

No, colored fluids cannot be used in the Flameblazer. This is due to the high risks these fluids carry (they are highly toxic and dangerous to people), as well as the chemicals involved, which cause the internal components to deteriorate rapidly.

What is the fuel consumption of each nozzle on the Flameblazer?

Fuel consumption depends on the nozzle used:
• L nozzle: 50 mL/s
• M nozzle: 30 mL/s
• S nozzle: 12 mL/s
